Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon. Aged for 16 months in new French oak barrels. Hand-harvested grapes. A balanced, powerful red wine, with rounded, silky tannins. Notable aromatic richness. Plums and hints of spices such as cinnamon and clove. Good structure, bright balance, smooth mouthfeel with a long, firm finish. D.O.P. Pago Bolandin.

Harvesting period: Second week of October. 

Harvesting: Manually, into 15kg boxes organised by plot and variety.

Maceration: Cold pre-fermentation at 5ºC for 24 hours. . 

Production and aging: Fermentation in French oak vats. Second fermentation in new French oak barrels for 14 months

Appearance: Intense cherry red colour with violet tones.

Nose: A balanced blend of a vigorous and a fruity and deliciously round. It is marked by a tobacco leaf fragrance and intense notes of red fruit and spices.

Mouth: Firm, structured and complex, with silky tannins and a notable aromatic richness, the progression concludes with a long, firm finish.

Pairing: Main courses with mushrooms and stews, beef fillet with black pepper, baked wild boar, stuffed suckling pig, tagliatelle with meat sauce, beef tenderloin in wine, baked lamb with potatoes and mature and fatty cheeses.
